Hewlett-Packard (HP) will give awards for print industry providers wide format. The event is called the HP Digital Print Awards 2010, will be held in Asia Pacific and Japan.
“These awards have an important role in improving standards of service and quality digital print signage throughout the industry,” said Martin Carballo, Director, HP Scitex – Graphics Solutions Business, Imaging and Printing Group, Hewlett-Packard Asia Pacific and Japan, in a written statement
With this, HP wants to encourage industry players to continue to innovate, and gain competitive advantage in this field.
Five main categories in the pageant are as follows:
- Transit Graphic include vehicle wraps and fleet graphics.
- Ad Space consists of a material point-of-sale, interior signage and graphics for floors or wallpaper.
- Outdoor Advertising including building wraps, billboards the signage, floor graphics, backlit the signage, and textile (flags & banners) graphics.
- Printing on top of all printed materials including decorative hardware on the hard materials like glass, ceramic or wood.
- Green Digital Printing includes print-friendly work environment.
Shipping works awaited until 30 April 2010 and winners will be determined at the date of May 31, 2010. Announcement of winners will be formally submitted July 7, 2010 at the Awards Dinner, along with the arena Shanghai International Advertising, Sign Technology and Equipment Exhibition 18th in China
