Scientists have identified the first malware that was built specifically to attack vulnerabilities in the Android OS 2.3 or Gingerbread.

The researchers found the malware inside an official application that is downloaded via the Chinese site.

Previously, some threats have been found for Android, such as DroidDream and DroidDream Light, who attacked the Android version of the old but still could not attack the Android 2.3.

Xuxian Jiang, an assistant professor of computer science at North Carolina State University, along with his team working in NetQin Mobile Security found a malware that is capable of attacking Android 2.3. Jiang himself gave the name of the malware as ‘GingerMaster’.

To compete with its rivals, Motorola joining the Android so that their products do not lose competitiveness in the technology market. Motorola will soon launch the newest Motorola Android smartphone Fire in the near future. Even in the UK mobile phones is scheduled to be rolled in September.

Fire Motorola phones do not use the qwerty slider that has previously been used in previous generations.

Android phones from Motorola uses a QWERTY keyboard and uses a 2.8-inch touchscreen. The handset is also equipped with 3 mega pixel camera and microSD memory slot that can be upgraded up to 32GB.

This device can also run the Switch Moto UI and features 3G connectivity (HSDPA), WiFi, GPS and also has an FM radio. In addition, it also comes with RDS support.

Cyber ??activist on behalf of animal movement to spread malicious programs that infiltrate in other applications.

Applications are being protested is Dog Wars, featuring dog fights.

Malicious applications are created using the trojan code that will infiltrate and run on the Android device being victimized. This malicious application is very similar to the Dog Wars Beta version and can be found at various sites pirated application providers.

Evil version of this application is not available at the official Google Android Market.

Malicious program, dubbed Android Dog Wars contains the code named ‘Dogbite’. When executed, a process called ‘Rabies’ victim will be active in the mobile phone.

Microsoft has recently been completed making the Windows version that supports ARM. After passing the test seems Dell is interested in applying technology in their devices.

When the ARM architecture demonstrated its readiness to enter the tablet market, Microsoft decided to make Windows 8, which fits with the use of these devices.

Dell is one company that has conducted several experiments using various operating system and from the beginning so far, still running well.

In other words, even though Dell has not had a reputation as a mobile players (despite having a tablet device and smartphone with Android operating system and Windows 7 Phone), to a bright future there is hope that if Dell can use this new operating system.
