A chip planting operations on the human body could potentially be used to monitor tumor growth in places difficult to reach by the physician.
The health engineer at the Technische Universitaet Muenchen (TUM) has developed an electronic sensor chip that can determine the oxygen content in liquid tissue that is in the patient’s body. Because of decrease in oxygen content in the tissue surrounding the tumor may indicate tumor growth in a fast and aggressive.
A research team led by Prof. Bernhard Wolf of TUM Heinz Nixdorf Chair of Medical Electronics have now developed a sensor chip that can be implanted near the tumor. The sensor chip can measure the concentration of oxygen dissolved in tissues.

A security flaw was found again in Apple’s product. This gap makes hackers are able to spend a laptop battery, infecting them with malware and also can cause the battery to overheat.
The vulnerability discovered by security researcher named Charlie Miller. Miller says that will be able to manipulate the chip is inserted into the battery Apple. This chip can monitor and regulate temperature and battery charging level even though the computer is off.
These chips can be controlled by a hacker through a password that is found Miller on the site creator is the Texas Instrument chip. Apple never change their password so the hackers can launch the action. The discovery was found by Miller after he examined a number series of Macbook is Macbook Pro and Macbook Air.

Qualcomm’s latest generation chipset boards prepare for them, Snapdragon. It is said that this chip will carry a number of new technology that puts the quality of graphics.
System on Chip (SoC) Snapdragon first introduced in 2008 in two variants namely QSD8650 and QSD8250. Until now, the chips continue to be developed until the final version of the MSM8660 which has a dual core with Adreno 220 graphics card in it.
Given a long journey, Qualcomm claimed to prepare the next generation chip that has a few advantages of its predecessor.
The next generation will use Snapdragon dual core to quad core. Performance reached 12 times higher than currently exists Read the rest of this entry »

Nvidia graphics card manufacturers are planning to make processors for computers. This means there will be a new rival for Intel and AMD.
Nvidia is already quite mature in the graphics card industry. In addition, chip makers based in the United States has also already started producing processors for mobile phones. For example, Tegra 2, which has begun to be adopted by LG Optimus 2X.
Not quite satisfied with the business she lived, Nvidia is now planning to make processors for computers. That said, these processors will use the ARM architecture which is now compatible with Windows.
