Samsung quietly launched a new tablet. SMT-i9100, thus its name, adopting Android version 2.2 or Froyo. Reportedly, this is one variant of the Galaxy Tab.

SMT-i9100 specifically intended for the Japanese market with a local operator, KDDI. Changes made to aim for these tablets in accordance with Sakura domestic market. However, the original version also fixed Galaxy Tab released in Japan with NTT DoCoMo operator.

Judging from the design, SMT-i9100 is nothing like the Galaxy Tab original version, although both carry the 7-inch touch screen. Similarly, with its features, there are a number of reductions that these tablets mention cheaper version of the Galaxy Tab.

For example, the tablet is nil front of the camera. While only 2 megapixel rear camera, while the Galaxy Tab 3 megapixels. Internal memory is only 4GB, but can be expanded with a memory slot. Unfortunately, the battery is only lasting 2 hours.

Forms of inter-face is also typical, not much like Galaxy Tab. Samsung embed user interface called the Ocean Observation UI.

The good news, there is no reduction in terms of CPU and RAM, just the same as in the Galaxy Tab. Tablets are not yet known the price is expected to be marketed in Japan beginning in 2011.

One of the selling points is the smartphone today screen technology in the show. Call it Super Amoled, Retina until S-LCD. Sharp did not want to miss showing off permissibility touch screen technology.

Vendors from Japan’s Sharp ISO3 release Android smartphone. Its most interesting is the 3.5 inch screen resolution 960×640 pixels, the twin with the size and screen resolution Retina Apple iPhone 4. That said, clarity is the same.

With the highest pixel density, Sharp ISO3 considered to have the most impressive display of other Android phones. Moreover, it supported the screen made by Sharp technology called Advanced Super View (ASV) to increase the angle of vision on the screen.

In addition to the display, other features deserve mention 9.6 megapixel camera. There is also a TV tuner to watch your favorite broadcast in mobile.

Phone with 1 Ghz processor Snapdragon QSD8650 relies Android OS 2.1 or Eclair and planned to upgrade to Froyo. Also presented EVDO Rev A connectivity, Wi Fi, and GPS.

Sharp will market ISO3 with operator KDDI in Japan, but there is no plan to release to foreign countries. Indeed, so far, Sharp does not seem aggressive in the global mobile phone market.
