Qualcomm introduced the latest generation of mobile Snapdragon chipsets that have been previously exhibited at the Mobile World Congress, Barcelona, ??February 14th last. Snapdragon mobile chipset which was introduced by the latest generation is a single-core Qualcomm MSM8930, MSM8960 dual-core, quad-core APQ8064, MDM9625, MDM9225, MDM9615 and MDM8215. In total there are seven new Snapdragon chipset. This chipset is made by using 28 nanometer technology. Any size smaller.
The processor micro-architecture code-named Krait in the latest generation Snapdragon chipset offers speeds up to 2.5 GHz per core and delivers 150 percent better overall performance, also saving power by 65 percent.
MSM8930, MSM8960 and APQ8064 could integrate the connectivity solutions such as WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, and includes support for near field communication (NFC), stereoscopic 3D (S3D), video and photos.

Qualcomm has released the new Snapdragon chip. The company, based in San Diego, California, United States of this claim, its chip is specifically designed to enhance the graphics capabilities of tablets.
Snapdragon APQ8060 dual core, thus the name of the chip, already used on the touchpad, tablet made by Hewlett-Packard (HP) has just been released this weekend. In addition to the touchpad, there are many other tablets that will use this chip.
It said President Group, Qualcomm, Steve Mollenkopf, Snapdragon will be embedded in more than 20 tablets immediately enliven the market this year. But he refused to give testimony, whichever vendor will use the chips.

After a delay, Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon finally ready to ship. Processor chipset which is claimed to have the fastest ability to smartphones and tablet computers is scheduled to slide this end of the year 2010.
Vice President of Product Management Qualcomm CDMA Technologies, said Mark Frankel, Snapdragon QSD8672 dual-core processors will be shipped with the CPU (Central Processing Unit) core running at capacity up to 1.5 GHz.
This chip is the latest series of dual-core chip Snapdragon. Unlike the MSM8660 series which began shipping in the second quarter, 8672 is claimed to have a faster processor. 8672 is the processor in the chip design is made using Arm and 45-nanometer process.
Series 8672 has a feature called voltage scaling individual so that each CPU can be ‘locked’ independently from each other.
